Jailed leader of  Zambia's opposition political parties - National Democratic Congress - NDC Chishimba Kambwili - has today Monday been granted a K300,000 cash bail after days in prison, Party Media Director Emmanuel Malite announced from the Magistrate court.

 

Kambwili will have to pay K100, 000 cash and his two sureties will  each pay k100,000 making it K300 000

The NDC leader was recently sentenced to two years imprisonment to run concurrently after being found guilty on one count of forgery and another of uttering a false document.
